18 FEB 2023. The American alternative rock band X Ambassadors performed at the Palladium concert hall in the heart of Riga, which was warmed up by Morgan St. Jeans. The concert featured both the band's best-known hits and new songs
The musicians, who have released three albums, call themselves a rock band, although their music has elements of many other styles as well. They are not afraid to experiment and have also collaborated with creators of hip-hop, popular and electronic music. Eminem, Bebe Rexha, Imagine Dragons, Lost Frequency, Kygo, and Lizzo – these are just some of the artists X Ambassadors have worked with.
About X Ambassadors pop-rock band
The musical journey of X Ambassadors began in 2009. Renowned for creating contemporary rock anthems, the talented group has released several singles, including the notable track “Litost,” which is featured on the soundtrack of the movie “The Host.”
The rapid growth of X Ambassadors’ music career was greatly influenced by the success and impact of their song “Unconsolable”
When during recovery in the hospital, Dan Reynolds, the renowned vocalist of Imagine Dragons, heard an acoustic version of the song “Unconsolable” by X Ambassadors. He immediately asked Interscope Records to sign the band to a contract.
The band’s first album, “VHS,” went platinum, transforming X Ambassadors from alternative rockers and Brooklyn indie rock outsiders into Billboard heroes
This album offers an intimate look into the youth of Sam Harris and his brother Casey Harris, enriched with audio clips from their home videos, early recordings, and rehearsals. It includes hits such as “Unsteady” and “Renegades.” In 2019, the group released their second album, “Orion,” followed by the EP “Belong” in March 2020, which drew inspiration from the soul music and R&B of the ’70s and ’80s. In 2021, the group released their latest work, the album “The Beautiful Liar.”
