Citi Zēni pleased the residents of Bauska, as well as guests from other cities and countries, with a fantastic performance at the Bauska TASTE music festival. Their energy captivated everyone from the youngest to the oldest visitors, leaving absolutely no one indifferent. The event was further enhanced by the surroundings of the Bauska Palace Park and the perfect weather.

About band Citi Zēni

Latvian pop band Citi Zēni was formed in March 2020 at a songwriting camp outside Riga. In 2021, the group released their first debut album “Suņi Iziet Ielās”, which translates into English means “Dogs Take to the Streets”.

In 2022, they announced their participation in the Supernova 2022 competition with the release of their new single “Eat Your Salad”. Citi Zēni qualified for the final and won it on february 12, 2022. Therefore, they represented Latvia in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest and unfortunately did not qualify for the grand final.

The band “Citi Zēni” is a six-member musical ensemble whose music can be described as a fresh tonic that was shaken and then opened. The group consists of Jānis Pētersons (vocals), Dagnis Roziņš (vocals, saxophone), Reinis Višķeris (keyboards), Krišjānis Ozols (guitar), Roberts Memmēns (bass), and Toms Kagainis (drums).
