25 OCT 2023. Szczygiel, a Polish fashion brand, presented its modern and sustainable "RESET" collection at the Hanzas Perons cultural and entertainment center during the 37th Riga Fashion Week

The “RESET” collection embodies a personal voyage that draws inspiration from the desire for breath, peace, and freshness. The color palette features beige and pastels, complemented by touches of metallic accessories. Natural elements take center stage in this collection, with the use of raw cotton and an abundance of prints created through natural methods. “RESET” represents a sense of calmness and freshness, enhanced by the futuristic undertones that define the Szczygiel brand. Every piece is meticulously crafted using dead-stock and sustainable materials, adhering to the principles of design with sustainability and zero-waste in principles.

About Polish fashion brand Szczygiel

The brand’s fashion designer and owner is Ania Szczygiel. She graduated in 2021 from the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design in Poland and received a scholarship from Polish Talent Support in 2017.

2018-2021 Ania Szczygiel was a scholarship holder of Polish Talent Support, a program supporting young Polish talents from around the world based in Cracow Schools of Art and Fashion Design

About 37th Riga Fashion Week

The 37th Riga Fashion Week, themed “Fashion as Art,” drew inspiration from the genuine essence of metamodernism. Art was the primary guiding theme for this season. The fashion week featured runway shows by Latvian and international designers at Hanzas Perons, Zunda Towers, and Eviart Gallery. In addition to the fashion shows, there were exhibitions and seminars tailored for industry professionals. Furthermore, various thematic events were scheduled to occur.
