08 MAR 2023. Intars Busulis and Abonementa Orķestris released a new album after a five-year hiatus titled "Spēlē savā burvju flautā." Along with the album's release, they commenced a concert tour, starting with a major performance at Arēna Rīga
The concert featured songs from the newest album “Spēlē savā burvju flautā” (Play your magic flute) released in 2023 as well as the greatest hits from previous albums. This concert program brought together musicians from the band Abonementa Orķestris – Kārlis Lācis, Kaspars Zemītis, Kaspars Grigalis, Edvīns Ozols, Māris Jēkabsons, Vineta Elksne, Karīna Tropa, Kristīne Pastare, and Alise Kante – as well as musicians from the Latvian Radio Big Band.

About musician Intars Busulis
Intars Busulis, born on May 2, 1978, is a renowned Latvian singer, trombonist, and musician who is part of the esteemed musical ensemble Intars Busulis and Abonementa Orķestris. He began his journey toward wider recognition in 2001 by participating in the band “Caffe.”
He has won several music competitions, including the Grand Prix at “New Wave” in 2005, and represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009
Intars Busulis competed in the third season of the Russian reality television singing competition “Golos,” based on The Voice series. Additionally, he has hosted on Radio SWH. Collaborating with composer Kārlis Lācis, he has produced numerous solo albums in Latvian and has been involved in the productions of K. Lācis musical “Oņegins” at the Dailes Theater, as well as in the recording of the album “Lāču tēta dziesmas” (Daddy Bear Songs). At the “Muzikālā banka” 2008, which took place in January 2009 in Ventspils, Intars Busulis won with the song “Brīvdiena.” Following this success, he went on to win the final of the 2008 LNT music show “Cīņas klubs” in February 2009 with his rendition of “Davai, davai.”
In 2016, Intars Busulis received the “Golden Microphone” award for Music Recording of the Year in the “Concert Recording” category for his concert DVD with Abonementa Orķestris and the Liepājas symphony orchestra
Two months after the release of musician Intars Busulis latest album “Nākamā pietura” (Next stop) its sales, excluding internet downloads, reached Golden Disk status.
The album “Nākamā pietura,” sold more than 5000 copies
The Golden Disk was presented to Kārlis Lācis, the album producer and composer, and deBusul MUSIC, the publisher, as recognition of their work. According to the “Muzikālā banka 2017” survey, which gathered votes from listeners, music experts, and musicians, the song “Nākamā pietura – depo” (Next stop – depo) from the album was recognized as the most valuable song of 2017. The album “Nākamā pietura” (Next Stop) won the “Pop Music Album” and “Album of the Year” awards at the 2018 “Golden Microphone” Music Recording Awards. In 2020, the song “Dejo Vientulību” (Dance Loneliness) won an award at “Muzikālā banka.”
